SAWNA BOCS CEFFYL began with a simple idea — to take something old and full of character, and give it a completely new purpose. The vision was to transform a horse-box into a wood-fired coastal sawna: a space for warmth, recovery and stillness beside the sea.

From the beginning, SAWNA BOCS CEFFYL was imagined as more than a sauna. The setting mattered just as much as the heat — open water, sea air and the rhythm of the Welsh coastline.
Burry Port Harbour felt like the right place to bring those elements together: a simple space to warm up, slow down and reconnect before stepping back outside to the coast.
From the beginning, SAWNA BOCS CEFFYL was imagined as more than a sauna. The setting mattered just as much as the heat — open water, sea air and the rhythm of the Welsh coastline.

The aim is to create a place that is welcoming and unpretentious - somewhere people can step away from the noise, reset and leave feeling a little calmer, warmer and more connected than when they arrived.
